It appears, that the stability has improved a lot with the aformentioned modifications. Since I do not need the CPU to operate at above 5 GHz, I’ve limited the P-cores to 5 GHz; while I’ve fully turned off all E-cores.
If you’re a versed user, and know what you are doing, you could try to optimize the system by yourself, but I think, that it is better to use an up to date UEFI/BIOS firmware image, before trying to optimize settings by yourself.
Conclusion: Games were running mostly fine, given a few soft-crashes when using Proton. Workstation tasks seem to run fine too.
Advanced thoughts: So why did I turn off TVB? I do not need the CPU to run a maximum clock speed and whish to save a little energy. I’m hoping, that it’ll run a little cooler this way.
